Dr. Alexander Zintchenko, Associate Organist


Alexander Zintchenko was born in Debaljtzewo (Ukraine) in 1958 and began his musical education at the age of seven. He studied in Kiev and Leningrad (St. Petersburg), including with Tatjana Krawtschenko. His extraordinary pianistic talent enabled him already to play works like the Schumann symphonic Etudes or the mass in b minor-publicly perform Sonata of Liszt. Alexander Zintchenko toured large parts of the former Soviet Union as a soloist and appeared in solo recitals and with various orchestras, for example, in Lenin-grad, Kiev and Novosibirsk. In 1991, the pianist continued his solo and educational activities in Poland. From there, concert tours took him to the Czech Republic, Germany and in the United States.

Alexander Zintchenko moved in the year 1995 in the United States. Here he lives and works in Chicago. His repertoire includes all major works in the piano literature. In the United States, the musician recorded a CD with music of Chopin and Rachmaninoff. In the past two years concerted, Alexander Zintchenko in Europe the United States, and in Australia. Along with the new Brandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra he interpreted already Rachmaninov's second and third Piano Concerto.
